come Partner with Casa Hogar
Casa Hogar is a children’s home that provides care, shelter, strength. love and hope in a Christian environment for orphaned and abandoned children in Acapulco, Mexico. We have partner with Casa Hogar for over 20 years and believe this is a home where each child can get to know a loving and faithful God who created them and has a divine purpose for their lives. This week at Casa Hogar allows our youth and families an opportunity to serve this community and take the love of Christ to them through the offering of VBS, and building projects, as well as forming meaningful relationships with the children that live there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Should My Student or Family Go On A Missions Trip?
We believe that a student or family who serve on the mission field, whether locally or internationally can significantly impact their own personal spiritual growth, faith development, and worldview as well as impact the world for Christ. This trip will help you visibly see God’s global reach and help you trust Him in new and unfamiliar situations. It opens you up to see the needs of people outside your community and may even open the way for further missions work later in life.
What Is the First Step to Be Involved In This Trip?
The first step is to register by filling out the online application and signing the missions trip covenant.
Who Is This Trip For?
This trip is open first to FPC youth and families. After a certain period, non-FPC members who are involved in the youth group can apply.
Who Is Leading This Trip?
David Newberry, our Youth Director, will be the key leader for this mission trip. Landis Mauldin, will also help lead alongside several other adult leaders.
Where Will the Group Stay?
The group will lodge and dine at Casa Hogar. The trip members have a separate wing of the orphanage where interns and team members will lodge for the week. There will be a separate team kitchen for breakfast and lunch and an outdoor meeting area for team bonding and devotions. The team eats dinner in the main dining room with all the children and staff.
