SERVICE TIMES & LOCATION

Join us this sunday!

Whether you're new to church, new to the area, or simply looking for a place to belong, we'd love to welcome you. Join us for Sunday worship at 9:00 or 11:15 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church is located in the heart of downtown Macon at 682 Mulberry Street, on the corner of Mulberry Street and First Street. Parking is available in our First Street lot, our Mulberry Street lot (beside The Grand), as well as along nearby streets.

Between worship services, we invite you to join us for Sunday School from 10:10–11:00 a.m. It's a great opportunity to connect with others, grow in your faith, and enjoy fellowship as we study God's Word together.

What to Expect

At First Presbyterian Church, you’ll find a welcoming community centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to glorify God through faithful worship, the preaching of His Word, and growing together as disciples of Christ.

Sundays are a chance to step away from the busyness of the week and refocus your heart on what matters most. Together we sing, pray, hear Scripture read and preached, confess our faith, and encourage one another as we worship God and are renewed by His grace.

We gather for two identical worship services each Sunday at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Services last about an hour and follow a Scripture-shaped order of worship. You'll experience Christ-centered, biblical preaching, congregational singing led by our choir and musicians, Scripture readings, prayers, responsive readings, and historic confessions of the Christian faith.

Whether you’ve been following Christ for years or are simply exploring the Christian faith, you are warmly welcome here. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday.

Visiting with Children?

We love welcoming families at First Presbyterian Church.
Children in 4K through 2nd grade are dismissed during the service for a Bible lesson designed just for them. We encourage children in 3rd grade and older to remain in worship with their families.

Our nursery is available for infants through age 3K from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. each Sunday, providing a safe and caring environment during both worship services. A private nursing room is also available for mothers.

We also offer Sunday School for children 4K–5th grade from 10:10–11:10 a.m., held in our children’s area on the second floor (“Cornerstone”).

If you have any questions when you arrive, our volunteers will be happy to help you check in and find the right place for your family.
