Established in 1826, First Presbyterian Church of Macon has been part of this city for nearly 200 years. How does a church endure for so long? By keeping the main thing the main thing. At our core, we are committed to the right worship of God, the faithful preaching of His Word, the true teaching of His children, and the kingdom mission of making disciples. We are a church of all ages and peoples, called to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our church may have some age on her, but she is not old. As a downtown church, our building is filled each week with children of all ages, a vibrant youth ministry, and dynamic, serving adults who love one another and grow together in Christ.
